Personality: Maryam is a very rational female who always thinks before she
acts and teaches the children the same. Though she is also very kind, this
leads to her being easily taken advantage of. She is considered very
successful, traditional, and law-abiding because of how well she handles
most situations. Though she can be exceptionally outgoing and dutiful to
the point where the children will fall asleep where they stand. Overall one
can describe Maryam as a loyal, supportively caring, and sincere to all
humans and cauldrons.

Backstory: Maryam grew up in a house full of cauldron boys, she was the
only girl. Her father raised them all kindly and treated every boy as his
own, with no mother figure Maryam began to hang out with those of the
maternal class. From her early age she knew what she wanted to be. As she
grew up and reached maturity many of the cauldron boys became aware that
she needed her space and shockingly listened to her. With Maryam's help the
boys straightened out and one by one left and went their own ways. Before
getting into maternal class many parents who were fighting asked Maryam to
watch over the children until they had returned. She was not known for
being strict but for being understanding, if someone told her they were
going to fight against the place they were growing up in, she would nod,
smile, and make sure they had everything for a safe trip. After a few years
some of the parents did not return, sisters Amery and Peridot were fully
her's now. On the way to the market place she noticed a rather small pale
child sitting in the darkness of an alley. As Maryam drew closer it was
clear the child was albino, and was a tuyere from his blue hair. She didn't
know tuyere started so small. Maryam knelt down and talked to the boy, he
had said he woke up and his parents were gone. This made Maryam sad, he was
not very different than any other cauldron child. Finally with a warm smile
she stood and told the boy to stay under her wing, Macintosh was now her's.
The children wonder why she doesn't have children of her own and she only
says, " You three are my children~"
